Child safety standards
The text below is a draft that the owner of the project has not approved yet. It is written from what the application actually does rather than standing in for something, but it is not the final version and its wording may change before it is approved. Until then it should not be relied on as final.
Our position
ALOSTORA WORLD has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. Material that sexually exploits a child, conduct that grooms or solicits a child, and any attempt to use this application to find, trade in or spread such material are forbidden without exception, and no part of these standards is subject to a warning first.
The application is for adults
The application is for people aged eighteen and over. A date of birth is required when an account is created and is checked on the spot; a date of birth under eighteen is refused and no account is created. Giving a false date of birth to get past that check is itself a breach of our terms.
If we learn that an account belongs to someone under eighteen, the account is closed.
How to report
Anyone can report from inside the application. Every message, profile, room, live broadcast and piece of media has a report control, and one of the reasons you can choose covers sexual material. Choose it and say plainly in the description that the report concerns a child; that is what raises it above an ordinary report.
If you cannot report from inside the application, or you do not have an account, write to support@alostoraworld.com and say in the subject line that the report concerns child safety.
Do not send us the material itself. Send us where it is: the account, the room, or the message. Send nothing you would not be allowed to hold.
What happens to a report
A report of this kind is treated as the most serious category we have. It is not closed by an automated decision.
Uploaded images are checked before they are published. Where the check returns a confirmed match against known illegal material, the upload is blocked immediately and does not appear anywhere. Where the check bands an image as high risk, it is held for a person to review rather than being published first.
On a credible report, the content is hidden, the account is restricted, and the evidence is preserved. Moderation and report records, including evidence kept from live chat, are deliberately excluded from the erasure that follows an account deletion, so that deleting an account cannot destroy the record of what happened. Where the evidence supports it, the account is banned.
Reporting to the authorities
Where the law requires a report to be made to a public authority or a designated reporting body, it is made.
We are not yet registered with any external reporting body, and we will not name one here before we are. Naming a channel we have not established would be worse than saying nothing, because someone would rely on it. This section is updated with the named channel as soon as the registration exists, and until then the route to us is the one above.

Where else these rules are written
The conduct rules in our terms of service forbid the same things, and the privacy policy explains which records survive a deleted account and why. These standards are the part that says what happens first and what never waits.
